Kitaba
Reading app for Islamic books, built remotely at the same time as Hatfa.
( The result )
2 apps
built and shipped at the same time
+10,000
subscribers in one week, together with Hatfa
1
developer for both apps

( 01 )The problem
The founders of Hatfa wanted a second product, a reading app for Islamic books. They wanted it at the same pace as the first one and from the same single developer.
( 02 )What I did
Build
- A catalog, a feed, a “my books” library and a reader inside the app.
- Flutter with Firebase, plus a local Hive cache so books can be read offline.
- The same clean architecture as Hatfa, so both apps share conventions and release tooling.

( 04 )The hard parts
- Two complex apps at once, remotely. Neither one was allowed to slow the other down.
- A reader that feels native. It had to behave well on both platforms and work offline.
( 05 )The outcome
Both apps shipped in record time, and together they gained 10,000 subscribers in a single week. Yahya, the co-founder, calls me their “said it, did it” person.
( What the client said )
“Amir is, quite simply, our 'said it, did it' person. He's a true professional who single-handedly built, tested, and shipped two complex apps remotely in record time. His ability to manage both projects while bringing creative solutions like beautiful animations was essential, driving a direct spike of +10,000 subscribers in one week. He is the key to our rapid implementation success.”
